How come my truck won't start?; new battery and new distributor/cap?

so a few months back my truck just stopped starting out of no where, i bought new battery seeing if that would work since the man said it didn't have much juice left and still would not start with the new battery ...

so i had it towed to a mechanic and he changed the distributor and it's cap etc for a nice chunk..then it started and has worked fine and i even drove it earlier and then all of a sudden when i get ready to leave my parents house it will not start - just like that last time...

any help is appreciated!

I can't even begin to think of what it is called. But you know where your %26quot;main board%26quot; is in the truck? [[typically inside the driver door close the break petal. Occasionally under the hood]]. You need to check a few of the %26quot;plugs%26quot; %26amp;%26amp; make sure they are all in good shape.

I probably wasnt much help because I dont know the specific names...buuut yeah. How come my truck won%26039;t start?; new battery and new distributor/cap?
ONLY THREE THINGS NEEDED TO START A ENGINE

AIR

FUEL

SPARK

CHECK FOR SPARK AT THE SPARK PLUGS.

CHECK FUEL RAIL FOR FUEL PRESSURE.

CHECK FOR RESTRICTIONS IN AIR FLOW.

POSSIBLE FAULTY DISTRIBUTOR OR FAULTY WIRES

POSSIBLE FUEL RELATED ISSUE

POSSIBLE BAD RELAYS OR FUSES

LOTS OF THINGS THAT CAN CAUSE THAT BUT KEEP IT SIMPLE IT USUALLY IS ALWAYS SOMETHING SIMPLE.How come my truck won%26039;t start?; new battery and new distributor/cap?
hm.. Well need more info on how it does not start. Does it make any noises when you try to start the truck? (Any-case try getting these tested %26quot;Battery, Alternator %26amp; Starter%26quot;.)
